Atlas Add-ons

Atlas

About

For some reason, Blizzard decided to include beautiful maps for every area of Azeroth except instances. You can still see the area surrounding you in the minimap when you're in an instance, but never the overall layout of the entire dungeon. This is where Atlas comes in. The core of Atlas is basically an image viewer. However, it's the images that come with Atlas that make it worthwhile: a map for every instance in the game. Furthermore, the maps are marked with the locations of bosses and other points of interest. Atlas also includes maps of battlegrounds, dungeon locations, flight points, and outdoor raid bosses.

After installing Atlas, you'll notice a new icon on the minimap that looks like part of a little globe (you can right-click the icon to drag it around the minimap's frame). Click this icon to open up the main Atlas window, which displays the maps and legend. You can alternatively use the slash-command /atlas. The drop-downs at the top of the window enable you to navigate between the maps. You can also drag the Atlas window around the screen. Lock it in place with the little lock button in the upper-right corner.

At the bottom of the legend is a small text-entry field as well as Search and Reset buttons. Type part of a word or name in the box and click the Search button, and the legend's entries are reduced to only those that match your text. Note that the search is performed only on the entries for the current map, not all the entries in the database. While not so useful for instances with only a few entries like Ragefire Chasm, the search comes in handy when there are a ton of entries, like for Blackrock Depths or the AtlasMajorCities plug-in. If you want to get the whole list back, just click Reset.

Before Installing

· Any previous versions of Atlas must be deleted prior to installation.
· Atlas plugins (AtlasLoot, AtlasQuest, etc.) designed for any version of Atlas prior to this one must be deleted.
· Map packs supplied by Daviesh for Atlas 1.8.6 must be deleted prior to installation (they're unnecessary now anyway).

AtlasLoot Enhanced

Download file

About

==Stand-alone UI==
Simply type /atlasloot or click the minimap button to view the new UI or to set options

==Drop Rates==
Drop Rates have been included for all instances.

==Enhanced tooltips==
If you have Lootlink or ItemSync installed, you can use tooltips generated by them instead of the default tooltip. I recommend the Lootlink tooltips, they handle data not in your local cache well.

If an item has (no iteminfo) after it you can only get the tooltip via Lootlink or ItemSync. Be careful with ItemSync, it is unstable on items not seen on your server (just the way ItemSync is). Lootlink works a treat.

==Chat Links==
Just shift-click items to link in the chat window. Two modes:
Chat Links Safe Mode: Can only link items without the (no iteminfo) tag. Slight chance of disconnect if you have an item in your local cache the server has not seen for a while, but unlikely.
Chat Link ALL ITEMS: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Strong chance of disconnects, especially on items your server hasn't seen yet.

==Dressing Room==
Control-click on 'safe' loot to use the dressing room.

==EquipCompare==
Use of EquipCompare can now be controlled through the options menu

==Use with fixed price DKP systems==
Simply edit the file 'dkp.lua' using data from localization.en.lua (for the item ID numbers) and your guild's fixed price values to allow for DKP values to be shown in the tooltip. The stubs of some Lucifron items have been included to get you started and show you how it's done.

Auctioneer Add-on

Add-on Homepage

Auctioneer is an addon that allows you to view information about an item that may be useful in helping you determine what it's worth.

Straight out of the box, Auctioneer knows much about many items in the game, and will tell you many things about the item when you move your mouse over the item in the game.

Right at the start, the information that is provided (via the Informant addon) to the user is:

An example tooltip:

  • Linen Cloth
  • Buy 3 (0.55 each) 1s65c
  • Sell 3 (0.13 each) 39c
  • Stacks in lots of 20
  • Class: Trade Goods
  • Used for: Smithing, First Aid,Engineering, Tailoring
  • Quest items in 4 quests

So what does this tell the user ?

  1. It tells the user that they are looking at the item "Linen Cloth"
  2. The buy price (that you can buy this item from vendors for) for three of these items is 1 silver and 65 coppers. (which is 55 coppers each)
  3. The sell price (that you can sell this item back to the vendors for) for three of these items is 39 coppers. (which is 13 coppers each)
  4. This item can be stacked together up to a maximum stack size of 20 items
  5. Blacksmithing , First aid , Tailoring and Engineering professions all use this item in their trades.
  6. It is a quest-item in 4 quests.

Note: Items that you may not actually be able to buy from vendors still have a value in the game. This value determines things like deposit price and starting price at the auction house and repair costs for durability damage.

Gatherer Add-on

Download Library File (if you have Auctioneer installed no need to Download)
Add-on Homepage

Gatherer is an addon for herbalists, miners and treasure hunters in World of Warcraft. It's main purpose is to track the closest plants, deposits and treasure locations on your minimap.

The addon does not track like a tracking ability does, rather it "remembers" where you have found various items in the past. It does this whenever you gather (perform herbalism, mining or opening) on an item, and records the specific map location in its history. From then on, whenever the item comes into range of being one of the closest 1-25 (configurable) items to your present location, it will pop up on you minimap.

When you view your World Map, you will also see the item locations marked on the particular map you are viewing there.

USAGE:

Just use the game as normal. When you gather things, they will appear on your minimap and your main map. If you want to configure the addon, click the Gatherer configuration icon floating around your minimap frame or type /gather options.

Titan Net Worth

Download File
Add-on Homepage

About

A simple plugin to Titan Panels which displays your total net worth of items and gold. This mod requires Auctioneer to be enabled so that it can use Auctioneer's database to determine item values.

When your bank frame is opened or when you pick up an item, this mod will scan through your bag contents and determine your items' value based on the median buyout prices stored in Auctioneer. If Auctioneer doesn't have the price of a particular item then it won't be added to your total, which means the estimates aren't entirely accurate. Also, things like soulbound items generally won't be found on auction and hence cannot have their value estimated this way.

Misc Add-ons

ATSW

Download File
Add-on Homepage

About

ATSW is a complete replacement for Blizzards tradeskill window with more overview and special functions.

This replacement (works for all tradeskills, now even enchanting!) provides you with:

- a better overview
The ATSW is bigger than the standard window, resulting in a much better overview over the thousands of items you can produce. Additionally, it lets you sort your recipes either by groups (as in the standard window), alphabetically or by difficulty. Alternatively, ATSW even lets you create your own groups and sort the recipes the way you like!
ATSW also has a filter function: enter something into the filter line and ATSW hides all recipes that don't contain the text you entered. But this filter function can do more: it's a powerful search function that can filter for minimum/maximum level requirements, producable item counts, item rarity (color) and reagents necessary. Check out the readme for details on using this function!

- more comfort
The ATSW has a production queue: you can queue several different items and have them all produced automatically by just clicking one button.
The ATSW is able to consider items you have to produce in order to use them as reagents in the production of other items. So: if you need item A to produce item B, you don't have to manually produce first item A, then item B. The ATSW does that for you: you just tell it to produce item B and it automatically queues the production of item A and - afterwards - item B. If you are missing some reagents to produce both items you get a message telling you exactly which reagents you need.
ATSW helps you telling your friends what reagents you need for a specific item: just click on a recipe with your shift-key pressed and the chat line opened and the reagent info will be added to the chat line.
ATSW shows you what reagents you need to process the whole production queue. It even tells you how many of each reagent you have in your bank, on alternative characters on the same server (in this case, it can even tell you on which characters) and which reagents are buyable from merchants. In case of buyable reagents ATSW can automatically buy all missing and available items from a merchant when you are speaking to him.

Detached MiniButtons

Download File
Add-on Homepage

About

This mod attempts to 'detach' all your minimap buttons, allowing you to place them anywhere on your screen. Positions are saved per server/character and restored next login.

This is the first version of this mod, I am sure not all kinks are worked out. I have tested it only with the mods I have, so please let me know which mods create buttons that I cannot detach so I can load them and see what-is-what.

Not all minimap buttons are detected at start up (such as FuBar plugin mods, which has its own moving anyway). A slash command is provided so you can rescan for buttons: /dmbs. This will also reposition any buttons it failed to find at startup.

Slash Commands:

/dmbs [help] : shows help
/dmbs nodock : buttons will NOT try to dock to Minimap when close to it.
/dmbs dock : buttons will try to dock to Minimap when close to it. This is default.
/dmbs reset : reset all buttons back to initial positions.
/dmbs lock, /dmbs unlock. Lock stops movement of buttons, unlock allows it. This does NOT prevent other mods
from moving the buttons.
Slash command /dmbs now shows help, use /dmbs scan to rescan buttons.
/dmbs scan which scans for new buttons.
dmbs cfg which shows lock/dock settings.
